Chris White

 

Chris is the New York City Metro Director for Campus Renewal. He graduated cum laude from Yale, where he also sang with and then directed Living Water, Yale's Christian a capella chorale. He was a leader in campus Bible studies at Yale for many years and worked with Bible studies at Princeton for several years. 

 

Chris is an ordained minister, and the author of more than thirty sacred songs. He earned his M.A. in Mathematics Education in 1991 at Teachers College/Columbia University, and has taught mathematics and history at public and private high schools. While in education he received the honors of being nominated to Who's Who Among America's Teachers between 2003-2006, and was named Outstanding Teacher in the Upper School at Convent of the Sacred Heart in Manhattan in 2005.

 

More recently, he has been a regular guest speaker at various universities in the Northeast.  He currently speaks in churches and holds 2-3 evangelistic concerts annually at the Naumburg Bandshell in Central Park and at the Jones Beach Bandshell on Long Island. He also preaches regularly in  evangelistic campaigns in Latin America, especially in Colombia. Chris is a member evangelist with the Next Generation Alliance (NGA) of the Luis Palau Association. He and his wife Pilar have four sons, all serving the Lord.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anthony Deng


Anthony is a New York City Metro Campus Coordinator for Campus Renewal. In his position, he leads and coordinates volunteers for events such as One Cry, an annual city-wide gathering for Christians across every culture and denomination. He also helps facilitate the New York City Metro Area student core team meetings, creating opportunities to build relationship amongst students across the city from different universities with a the same heart for united prayer and mission on campuses.

 

Anthony was born and raised in New York City. He graduated from CUNY (City College of New York) with a B.A in History and East Asian Studies. He enjoys giving tours of the city to incoming freshman, teaching them about the hidden gems of New York City. He loves to play sports such as basketball, softball, fencing and football and is an avid fan of both the Colts and the Pacers. On the side, he loves to collect college sweatshirts and t-shirts.
